Colm Burns Commercials Ltd is an approved HGV and LGV vehicle test centre. We are part of the VTN network and provide the full range of tests in our modern premises on the Dublin Road, Sligo.

A: We are conveniently located on the Dublin Road at Ballisodare, Sligo.

A: We are open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. We are closed each day for lunch between 1pm and 2pm.

A: Prices vary depending on the test and the vehicle..
Q: What happens if my vehicle fails the test?
A: If your vehicle fails, our mechanics will issue you with a 'fail report'. Then you have 21 days or 4000km (which ever comes first) to rectify the errors and have a retest. The cost of the test is halved, however if you fail to retest within the time lim.
