Argent Equipment is an approved HGV and LGV vehicle test centre. We are part of the VTN network and provide the full range of tests in our modern premises in 21 Parkmore Industrial Estate, Longmile Road, Dublin 12.

Q: Where is Argent Equipment?
A: From the Red Cow interchange take the Naas Road City bound. Turn right onto Walkinstown Avenue, turn right at crossroads at E P Mooney. Then take the immediate left for Renault Truck.

A: State Regulation requires a commercial vehicle to be tested once a year..
Q: What are Argent Equipment's opening hours?
A: We are open Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm including lunch, and Saturday from 8.00am to 1.00pm..
Q: How much do vehicle tests cost?
A: Prices vary depending on the test and the vehicle. See the Services page for more information..
Q: What happens if my vehicle fails the test?
A: If your vehicle fails, our mechanics will issue you with a 'fail report'. Then you have 21 days or 4000km (which ever comes first) to rectify the errors and have a retest. The cost of the test is halved, however if you fail to retest within the time limit, the full price will be charged.
